This is a food blog where I'll show some photos and give some tips on the food I like to make.
Be forewarned, I'm not someone who makes tried-and-true recipes over and over again, just like Grandma taught me.
In fact, I cannot for the life of me cook "smart" -- making sensible, cost-effective meals that will provide leftovers for days of ziplocked lunches. I wouldn't even WANT that.
What I can do, and do often, is tackle absurd, convoluted, at times kafkaesque culinary challenges that many more responsible home cooks wouldn't attempt.
